Recently, the two giants in the education training industry—TAL Education and New Oriental—have released their mid-term financial reports for FY2025, showcasing their market performance and development strategies. These reports not only reflect the operational status of the companies but also serve as important indicators of the industry's future direction. TAL Education's net revenue for Q3 of FY2025 reached $606.4 million, a 62.4% increase from $373.5 million in the same period last year. The company's gross profit also rose by 59.6% year-on-year, reaching $319.8 million, successfully turning a profit.

TAL Education focuses on mathematical scenarios and AI dialogue learning, launching MathGPT, the first large model specialized in mathematics in China. MathGPT provides detailed answers to mathematical problems, including analysis, detailed explanations, and key insights. The TAL Learning Machine becomes the core product implementing MathGPT, incorporating features such as AI dialogue learning and problem-solving assistance. AI dialogue learning locates students' weaknesses through multi-turn conversations and has received both positive feedback and some criticisms from parents. In the second quarter of 2023, the TAL Learning Machine shipped 90,000 units, ranking fourth in the domestic learning tablet market.
